Here is a story about the reward for the capture and conviction of Eric Rudolph. The story only names two recipients. These are the two guys who followed Rudolph from the bombing to his car, and wrote down the tag number. They deserve it. If they had not followed him, Rudolph would probably be a free man today. And they did not just stand still and see him get in his car. They followed him for several miles through a densely populated urban area, from the lowlying location of the blast, up and over red mountain, to the spot where they saw the car near the Birmingham-Homewood border. Here is a map, I do not know how they followed him, other than that it was from north to south, but this gives you a general idea of the area and distance.
